I was watching a youtube video of Brad Owen. He was playing in the WPT event. And i saw the chips. They looked really noce. They were from Chipco.com
Went to there site, but when i choose ceramic chips etc. I get a message "404 not foud.."
Am i the only one? Or is this because i use an android phone?

Chipco has been out of business for years. Brpro has some Chipco blanks that they can use instead of their stock ceramic material, but it costs $.20 extra per chip.

Technically true, but not really.

Chipco International closed doors when the owner was jailed for tax fraud; some assets (including blanks) were later sold to PGI. ABC/BRPro bought those assets when PGI closed.

A couple of years after it closed, some former Chipco employees in Maine created the Game On Chip Company (GOCC) and sold high-end ceramics (similar but superior to the old Chipco chips) to casinos and the home market. They eventually sold the company to a new owner in 2019, who moved the company to Florida and renamed it to Game On Chipco, but now commonly refers to it as simply "Chipco."

The company's website is chipco.com and is still active (just checked), but the company is notorious for being difficult to contact.

Nope. GOCC chips were far better than the original Chipco ceramics imo. No wear ring that turns white, similar linen texture, better print quality, and no color bleed issues.
Thanks! Good to know

I had no idea they were still in business. I thought it was odd that the website was still active because every time I’ve gone to it, no matter what I clicked on, it always gave me a message that said, “We can’t find products matching this section.”

Yeah, the website is still alive and poppin, just checked it. Would definitely hope they had a retail/consumer offering still, as I'm a fan of having more ceramic options. I believe @CraigT78 at least had a great outcome with GOCC for his custom set.

Windy Crest chip set?
Yes. I added a commemorative $5 and the blank wasn't the same after they confirmed it was, there was a rough tab on nearly every chip, and the colors printed slightly different. I can with the last part but the rough spot pissed me off.

I didn't even know that GOCC was operating considering many members had tried contacting them multiple times and were met with cricket noises.
The company GOCC is no longer operating. Some folks purchased the equipment from what I understand and are now operating as ChipCo.

Definitely getting nothing but 404 errors. If someone finds a page with an actual product on it, please share URL.

Lol thanks. I just got some samples from them. Didn’t know about the chipco blanks for an extra .20 until this thread tho. Anyone have experience with that/is it worth it? (I’ve only got a few old casino chipco ceramics to compare to the BRPro samples.)

I'm happy with them and think in this instance the extra 20¢ was worthwhile.

If you can't justify the extra per chip expense, BRPROPOKER's other chip blanks are also excellent choices

100% worth it.
