I joined because i was thinking about upgrading my chips for a cash game that we are restarting after a long hiatus. Now im buying cards, cases, researching oils....

It's definitely a good thing to learn about, though. Bright and vivid colors are what attract me to different sets and proper maintenance helps preserve that aesthetic.
