I'd rather have a non error chip.

They should have ensured all racks had correct chips before starting. If they cannot guarantee that, they have no grounds unless a visual ID was made of the alternative chips being added after the start.

Imsirovic/Schindler/Bonomo situations are a little different, in that their cheating wasn’t at WSOP, wasn’t at Caesars property, wasn’t even in live tournament setting, it was online

Here’s the problem, and it’s all WSOP’s making.

They’re forcing tables to break from Paris (YUGE ballroom) and bag their chips and then walk through the Paris and Bally’s casinos to play at Bally’s. Everyone follows one of the TDs in a line, but it’s not like someone is watching players or it’s a tight line. It’s a long unorganized string of players.

It’s beyond easy to walk back to your room with a bag of chips. Like there is absolutely zero way to protect against this.

Someone trying to sneak in chips using this method is the least surprising thing at the WSOP. I’d be shocked to hell if people weren’t already doing it in significant quantities.

Stop moving people between facilities, WSOP TDs. You have many many tables at Paris, where it’s one room, air conditioned (unlike Bally’s which had zero air circulation) and plenty of spare tables.

They make you move between facilities in the same day?! That’s stupid. They pitched it as a day 1 in Paris, day 2 in ballys sort of thing.

Would have been better if this was this year and he walked up to the cage and almost effortlessly bought a rack of Paris $1s .. turned around and started trying to hustle them to the tables directly across from the cage for a profit! Oh crap that already happened except it was here on our forum.... SMH!
