Dang, those chairs are sick!!!!

I saw this table in its final stages at Tonys shop..very nice man!

Super sick setup, and the chips are amazing too, but even dice chips would fly with all the other gear.

Thanks. The chairs are supposedly from Hollywood Casino. I grabbed them from someone on Craigs List. The leather on them is awesome. The previous owner dyed them from the puke brown/tan to black. Some of the black dye was wearing off when I purchased them. I have the materials to dye them again, but just haven't gotten around to it.

Still have to mount the USB port under the table but the rest is setup so figured I'd throw some pictures up. Tony I am blown away with the craftsmanship of this thing. The little details that you clearly take the time to make look good although most people are never going to see them are unbelievable. Excited for the first game on this thing.

Nice setup! Any chance you could post a photo of the table from the side without the chairs in front? Just to get a view of the boomerang base. I'd love to add the photo to my gallery.

Very nice table. Congrats on getting it in use so quickly. Love what you and tony pulled off.

Finally got to put it to use last night. Table was a hit with the group. Thanks again Tony. You'd did an amazing job at bringing it to life.

Getting lots of work done in the shop this week, putting together 2 dining table covers, 1 in solid maple and the other in walnut.

The maple dining table cover's an absolute beast. The poker table is 10' long, so the dining table has to be a bit longer to cover the poker table and is going to be 123" total length.

Here's the 12' boards that we're using for the build.

1 board was a little short at only 11'. You can also see the stack of walnut at the end of 1 of the tables.

Massive glue up after planing and jointing all of the boards.

The oval is realized. This thing is actually so big it wouldn't fit on my CNC machine which can only cut up to 121". So, I had to break out the old plunge router to cut this out by hand. I haven't done that in a long time. Shallow passes with a circle router jig, then cut the straight sections with a circular saw.

Next up is lots and lots of sanding, then a roundover profile for the edge and then a red mahogany stain.

Also working on a walnut themed poker table, with a new style of legs. These are more of a mid-century modern style. The photo below is one side upside down.

Each foot has a gradual taper that goes from 1/2" at the bottom to nothing at the top.

Glued up the legs today, looks like a neat design.

Putting a shuffletech into a side cart rather than in the poker table. I went 9 years without ever making use of an automatic shuffler, including this one, I'll be doing 4 installations in the coming months.

I still need to install the casters and door knob.

This makes me think the pandemic may be causing a resurgence in home poker, involving players new enough that they have no idea how to shuffle. If the future of poker is brighter due to COVID, Go COVID!

I definetly think poker is making a come back due to covid… lots of free time to surf the web has landed us a lot of new members on the forum!

Unfortunately Tennessee must be doing fine, seems like we never get to add many locals for The Zombies, it is really nice having a large local PCF family in your area. Seems like you guys mostly have to travel for games other than your own

It 100% is. My buddies were always casually interested in poker, but they never really caught the bug. Quarantine hit, we formed a PokerBros room, and the 7 guys in the group who live in two neighboring apartments were dealing live hands literally all day in their mini-bubble.

A lot of douchebags will say “oH iF yOu DidN’t gEt FiT oVeR qUaRanTinE yOu sUcK” but I do firmly believe if you had both the time and even the slightest interest in poker and didn’t use quarantine to explore it/get better, you screwed up

I think so too, my orders have increased significantly since the spring for home game tables.

I think all the guys use poker around here as an excuse to get out the house haha. Since I did not get an automatics shuffler I must still be down the list a ways :( . Keep up the great work tony love seeing updates on projects!

I'm doing 4 installations in the coming months, but not the next 4 in a row.

Yeah not everything makes it onto PCF. My instagram is much more active, I post there at least 3 times a week. instagram.com/chanmanpokertables

Many of my customers find me from PCF but aren't forum members.

Just added!

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I may be slower than usual to reply to PM's and emails. We just acquired a new space so we're expanding our shop. I was in a 2000 sq ft warehouse with an additional 800ish sq ft mezzanine. My landlord purchased the space next door so we're expanding into there, doubling our space. We officially move in July 1st, but for the next several weeks, after regular work hours and weekends I'll be in there with other contractors doing renovations.

The previous tenants used to make Tofu, so there's lots of equipment that needs to be torn out so that I can turn it into a empty shell so that I can set up my tools and get more efficient. This way I will be able to reduce my lead times since we can be more efficient with our setup and put out products faster without sacrificing any quality.

Thanks for everyone's patience.
