Good morning,
After spending time admiring sets and soaking up knowledge from this community, I’ve decided to begin work in earnest on my first real custom set. I’ve gone through a few iterations and would love some feedback from the crew here.
The theme is the Cedar City Cigar Club — mixed games, bourbon, and hand-rolled cigars. The idea was to create a set that feels warm, classic, and just a little bit indulgent.

To be played in a $10/$20 mix, 6-9 handed (NL and PL games are played $1/2 with a $200 cap).

Current Lineup

Inlay Style

I’m planning to run with two inlays:
  • One standard inlay (aged parchment w/ cedar tree) for all denomscedars of lebanon inlay2.png

  • A custom NCV inlay with a bourbon glass and cigar to give it a little personality and thematic flavorcedars of lebanon inlay ncv.png
  • What I’d Appreciate Feedback On

    • General cohesion of the lineup — anything feel out of place?
    • Do the spots and colors feel too busy or too tame?
    • Thoughts on the NCV — would you stick with matching inlays across the set or keep it distinct?
    • Anything else you'd tweak before pulling the trigger?
Thanks in advance for the feedback. This community’s attention to detail and creativity has been a big influence on how I approached this project, and I really appreciate any thoughts you have.

Looking forward to joining the customs club soon!

I don't know if this will appeal to you, but what I did with my NV chip was to give it a different spot pattern to make it stand out a little. Did you consider using maybe 618, 614 or 6d18 spots for that chip just to differentiate it a little more from the $1 chip? Or maybe another spot pattern that's not already in your set? Maybe quarter pie?

I actually had considered the quarter pie! Let me play around with that a little and see how it looks.

It looks pretty good as a quarter pie, doesn't it?

I fucking love the name of these chips!
Thanks! I live near Cedars of Lebanon State Park and some of the local businesses have started using that. Cedar City Brewing, etc. I get together with a group of the fellas for cigars and bourbon once in a while, so it seemed like a good name to use. :-)
