I have been playing around with a design idea to see where it goes. So I thought I would share.

A little back story: My neighbor, a very close friend of mine for 20+ years used to call me the caveman because I work from home and my office is in my basement/cave. He passed away this summer and I found myself missing him over the holidays. So I guess this is kind of therapeutic and is done in memory of a close friend and great man.

On to the design idea. The 1st one is with a black label and the 2nd one is with color matching.

Love the concept. Of the two styles, I really like the first one (black background). However, it's close to the woody chips that you already have, so if you were looking for something different, the second set would be a better choice.

Great design and thought behind it! You've got skill!

I like the 1st set better but Dave has a valid point too!

Woody, everyone else is wrong! If we call your new design the "third set", then it is the second set with the color matched label backgrounds. :D

Also, just a little bit of constructive criticism... I'd recommend using different denominations on the chips. (Hey, WHAT?! SOMEONE had to say it!!!)

Seriously, thanks for sharing the story with us. Do you plan to do this set by labeling China Clays, or something else? They would sure make a nice custom CPC set if you could scratch together the coin by mid-year or so! Two thumbs up!

They will probably never become reality, I am just playing around with the design. I don't have any plans for them, if anybody likes the design I would gladly give it away for free as is or I can customize it for them. Doing designs is a hobby of mine, everything I do is free. I have created a few designs that have been used by members here and CT. I also have a bunch of designs that were just ideas that I wanted to try out and will never be created. If people are interested, maybe I will start a thread with some of these designs.
