Dammit, just checked the parcel tracker and the package is being held in customs. More delays and fees by the look. I checked the Border website and says anything over 1K. My Blades were over 1K and they got through. By the time they send me the declaration form and get their act together ... bugger it.

20% for us as well (believe on the combined product/shipping cost). And an 'admin' fee on top, just to kick you in the nuts when you're down!!!

Okay, that is a slug in the guts. $515AUD duty, tax and admin fees for my chips to be 'released'. Its like a ransom demand. "I'm gonna need more than 48hrs to come up with money, ya gotta believe me!!! I won't involve the cops, honest!!!" Gee whizz All they needed was a sawn-off and balaclava emblem on the form.
Now to come up with the dosh. Man, I was happy about these, now I just feel ill. Sorry gang, will get them soon, and get the samples out asap after that.
Tip for young players - get two boxes with separate invoices, which 'somehow' are under $1KAUD.

Yeah, with the extra items from all over the place, I thought it would be easier to have everything sent here, put it together and post out with one postage cost per person, but I didn't even factor in the customs hit as I have never imported anything before that drew them in to the picture. Oh well, :-(. live and learn.
I'm happy to chip in the tax costs for my sample.

Hey all, how would people feel about an extra $3USD to help me out with getting these chips out of 'lock-down'? I have done the sums and worked out that over 25% of the chips are samples, so worked out the figure over the number of samples.
If you are of a mind to help out, that would be great, but no probs if not - will still obviously send out the samples.

Will send tonight as well. I know the pain! Here in Austria I think it's anything over €100, and the tax varies between 20-30% depending on the type of product. My wife ordered a box of tutus from China last year (she's a dance teacher) and I had to pay over €600 when they dropped them off.

Funny Gear posting right after me. I just received some labels from him (look fantastic BTW) on Tuesday and it's the only poker-related package I've gotten which has dodged the tax. Couldn't believe it. Everyone loves Canadians.
