Canceled BW Cash Set (700 Chips) (1 Viewer)

I have said over and over I wouldn't do this, and quite frankly I still don't want to (which is reflected in the price), but a current project requires that I look to raise some chipping funds. For sale, I am offering this 700 chip BW cash set (all 39mm) for $3/Chip, or $2100. Yes, I understand this price is higher than what you see in the limited number of sales over the last couple years if you do a search, but I don't really want to sell these, so would be perfectly happy to keep them :D. Not looking to split ATM.

Chip breakdown and pictures below. Condition is VG+/Mintish - given these are hybrids, I have a hard time telling if they are any different than mint, but I have used these chips in ~6-7 games, and don't know how much they were used prior to that (assume very little).

US destination preferred, although I am open to shipping internationally. Buyer pays shipping, and assumes all shipping risk (chips will be packed with care). Paypal F&F / Venmo accepted.

5c - 100 (note a small number of these were erroneously printed as $5 - one is pictured - I have the stickers from @Gear to relabel, which will be included)
25c - 100
$1 - 200
$5 - 200 (10 are not pictured)
$20 - 80
$100 - 20 (10 are not pictured)
2 buttons (choose 2 of those pictured)

$.55 and $.58 (39/43mm) plus shipping, from the PCF Store. :cool

Not that that means anything, of course. The demand far outstrips supply, and they'll never be made again.
Do you know how many were ordered total?

Oh wow it was .69c per chip in the original GB? Damn, @gkitt80 if you're willing to sell it at cost ill take it  :whistling:

wasnt lucky enough to be in the original group buy. Admittedly my price is above what these have sold for in the limited number of sales since the GB was shut down, but unlikely you find these anywhere close to the GB prices - good luck in your search if that’s what you are holding out for!

Nah I completely understand why you're selling at the price you are, I was just messing around haha

Will Sunfly send corrected 5c chips if you send them a pic of the error chips?!?
Doubtful, as my understanding is SunFly won’t touch this set with a 10 foot pole.

it’s only 8 chips or so that are impacted, and TBH I kind of like the novelty of the error chips. However, the labels I did receive from @Gear are perfect, and should do the job if a buyer is so inclined to switch them out.

Why would SunFly be squeamish about revisiting a set that they had no problems making in the first place ? I don't know the back-story that went on with this, but did they panic when they realize it was practically identical to the actual casino chips and pull the plug on the GB ?

Ummm, have you ever heard of lawyers? Well, this may come as a shock, but casinos have them. :confused

Yeah, definitely lawyers were involved. Cease and desist letters, demands for product returns/removal from market and lists of current owner info, lawsuit threats, etc.

OP is taking a big risk even listing these publicly.

And post #27 should probably be edited to limit search capability. @aaronroch @Tommy

Long story short, some dumbass(es) introduced them into Borgata, dealers were non the wiser until they finally caught on (I forgot which came first, patrons complained or dealers/floor got wind of them?), C & D, whole revamp of Borgata chips. That's why they're ridged now as opposed to being smooth.

Thanks for the clarification.

I'm conflicted about this. I'm conflicted on the one hand that some people are stupid and irresponsible enough to screw things up for other law abiding chippers. On the other hand, I'm encouraged that SunFly are capable of making such a fine product as I in the midst of mocking up a SunFly custom set with them.

All it takes is a select few.

Not splitting atm, but you are welcome to buy the lot and sell off what you don't need ;)

5/7 of all your chips would be sold off in this split! (The 0.25 from me and the $1s & $5s from @dimperdoo) would you consider a split if all chips are accounted for?
