So here's the deal, I'm trying to figure out a budget table with a dining topper for entertaining non-poker related activities. I want one that will seat 10 people relatively comfortably but I also want to not spend $4,000+ so I've narrowed it down to a Barrington Urban 10 player with dining top or a Ram Game Room 84" GTBL84 (links at the bottom). Only place I can find the Barrington is wayfair for $1,000. Looks like I can get the Ram Game Room for $2,000 shipped with the table top from Americana. The Ram table has a race track and only 8 cup holders, and is 3 inches smaller. The barrington has no race track and the cup holders are in the rail instead of the race track. I like how the Ram table looks when the top is on it better, and overall seems better, but I feel like it would be a lot more cramped than the Barrington, even though it's only 3" smaller overall. Anyone have any thoughts and/or suggestions on something else to look at?

Thanks!

Interesting, the Barrington table when converted to a dining table still doesn’t cover the cup holders and rail? Hmm.
And “faux concrete”…you don’t see that every day. :ROFLMAO:

The Americana looks way better when converted, but I’m not a fan of racetracks.

For a budget topper you can always use a 1/2" or 3/8" thick acrylic slab that can rest on your rail. Just cover with a tabletop. Glass works as well but heavy and fussy.
