3 of a Kind
Considering buying a Bud Jones set, been playing cards at my local casino that uses BJ’s for years. I like the feel of them, unlike most. Worth buying, Will they hold their value?
I think BJs (the chips) are an outcast to a lot on here, but I love them.
Self-dealt game...one has to assume that people at PCF are getting plenty of poker but very little of sex![]()
Is that what they meant when they say "splash the pot" ?Self-dealt game...
Bud Jones CIC are the best
Stop it. Better than these?
What version is the pacific starNot all Bud Jones chips are alike.

I'm not a fan of the aesthetics of the V7 line, but many are. I've found the V6s have the Bus Jones suction issue more than other lines. I didn't notice it at Mystic Lake when they used V6s, so it may eventually break in. But the Parker's I played with had it pretty bad.
My favorite Bud Jones like is the S2 line. The only drawback is that they only come in 39mm.
Vawesome. okay V7.What version is the pacific star
Those CIC chips are like those pucks with the silver ball in the middle from table top hockey games of the 60's and 70'sWay better. Way, way better, IMO.
(I say that, and I own a set of those SEs, too.)![]()
Who doesn't like BJ's?
Makes sense.Bud Jones are casino quality chips so yes, they're worth it. The main issue is that compared to clays there is a smaller market for them so while you'll likely be able to move them on, there are fewer people who would want them so sales may take longer.
Pretty sure that’s what Canterbury uses (S2’s). I like the look of those best. Not all Bud Jones chips are alike.

Agreed.
I didn't get any takers when I was looking for sometime to harvest Canterbury chips for me...
Yup, buying chips from the cage and taking the ones in the best condition to add to your personal collection.what does harvest mean? I’m new in here but at Canterbury fairly often and find a ton of chips in my pockets from time to time - is that what you mean?
