I still don't love how the V7s feel, but they've grown on me. I'm waiting to get these in play in a couple weeks for our deep stack game to see what the players think, luckily a lot of them are used to handling them at Bay101 and a couple other local rooms. I still find em hard to shuffle sometimes, but I think these are less sticky than the gunked up ones at the casino. Mine may end up hitting the classifieds in lieu of hybrids or even...RHCs, gasp!
I love the heft and solid feel of them but man the are super "slipisticky" when trying to shuffle of otherwise play with :(

I know my chances are slim here...but anyone have some 5s they're willing to sell? Maybe someone who got these then found out they didn't like them or something like that.

PM me if you can spare some chips!

For only twice the price. How nice.

It's been explained to me that we are a community that helps each other out by supplying chips to each other that otherwise would not be available. If someone happens to make a handsome profit at our expense then that's just the community as a whole helping another member to be able to go find more chips to bring in at more profits.

I don't know about you, but I treat my family the same way, if I have to pick a loaf of bread up for my brother who can't drive I simply double the price to him since I'm helping him get something he couldn't get otherwise. He's happy to have food and I can go buy me a meal at a nice restaurant.

Interesting.... I just go get the loaf of bread for my brother, no charge. And my next door neighbor only pays for the bread, at actual cost. I guess I just don't look at my fellow chippers here as profit opportunities.

I think maybe the sarcasm font didn't show up on your screen.

But I think he is serious...:cautious:

I just pick up an extra loaf of bread for my brother while I'm at it...at no additional cost...because he's my brother...and can't drive...(y)

Pure sarcasm in my post meant to point out the disdain I feel about the hypocrisy that gets floated out here sometimes. Not everyone is like that, so its not all bad.

If anyone is selling some Crystal Parks PNY's or Ritz at 1st available prices please contact me.
I get what you are saying, but it's a little different when a chip hoard becomes avalilable for cheap, with plenty of chips..... and some folks try to buy as many as possible (way more than they need) -- which prevents others from getting sets. And then they gouge those same folks for inflated prices when selling the unwanted chips here shortly afterwards.

That's simply a huge FU to the community at large -- "I am here merely to profit at your expense, thanks for inviting me and sharing intel so that I can do so." These parasites both deny others and drive up prices, all for the glory of lining their pockets.

These types of deals especially - this sale was brought to the attention of everyone here by a member just trying to help people out - get a decent set of chips at a decent price. He very easily could have sat on this info or bought a crap ton and then resold them for profit. Instead he shared his information, and unfortunately some were bought or massive amounts were bought just to be buying them. Now they sell for more than decent Paulsons?

I was just pointing out that some of these chips were available in a classified (not mine) if some were still looking for them.

I agree, I wish everyone would sell back to the community for cost or close to cost but alas....

Yes there are people that sell chips for profit. There are also plenty of people that sell for cost or close to cost. Some people are into chips as an investment and some are into it because they love collecting chips. No one is forcing anyone to pay inflated prices for chips, each individual has to determine what price they will pay for the chips they want. Wanting someone to sell you chips at cost and finding someone to sell you chips at cost is 2 different things. Just don't do business with the ones you think are flipping for profit.

Got any 5’s and 25’s left??

Sorry sold mine off in one big lot!

I have some 5's I'm willing to get rid of if you're interested

How much for a rack of 5’s?

I only have 60 but I'm willing to sell them. Don't really use them all that much

What price for the 60?

“Today on posts that should have been PM’s...”
