Got any to sell? Still trying to get a barrel of $500s together

I only have 2 of them. They do pop up on eBay from time to time. Someone sold a set of these last year on eBay. $1s, $5s. $25s, $100s, $500s, and some $1000s . I missed it by mere seconds. I refreshed the page and they were sold. Seller kept lowering the price on a daily basis.

Just got confirmation through eBay they are sending out the missing chips and replacing the broken ones

Thank you @GameOnChipCompany

I got communication as well, looks like they are shipping me my ones, as well as the remainder of what I ordered, substituting fives for my twentyfives.

A Special Thanks to Tommy and John Conor for reaching out to me and getting me some twenty fives at cost. These guys offered them up to help me out and it's really appreciated!

First game was a roller coaster for me but ended up +55 for the night

What was the consensus of the group about the chips? Or your impression?

The Chips look amazing in person but players complained about the suction effect and sticking together. Not easy to shuffle. They are however used to Paulsons.

They will make a perfect travel set.

I got a small family game together to get the chips in play and the consensus was not very positive lol the suction effect just bothered everyone so much and shuffling was difficult for them as well. I couldn't really argue, but I love the look of them. Would hate to release the set back into the community without having even relabeled them yet... but I don't like them enough to just stare at them on my desk because nobody wants to play with them (n)

Almost time to enlist @Gear for his services for a $.25 label. 29 more chips will give me two full racks.

I may have to remove the existing labels on the Carribean chips because for some reason some of them have no recess. Hate the idea of destroying live chips...

I can get tons of these, but same deal - destroy live chips and pay $1.40 each for BJ quarters.

I bought enough to do the "divide by four" trick instead. At least till I can find cheaper alternatives.

As those of you ordered $5 receive you chips I'd be interested in know how many "Grand Opening" chips (please post) you got. Out of just over 1K $5's received I got exactly (1) "Grand Opening" chip. I know most "GO: or "Special Event" chips get snapped up by singles collectors so there may not have been many left when the rack was retired. Just trying to figure out how rare these things are.

After I received all mine I ended up with one Grand Opening out of 800 5's. It was in the rack that they substituted for my missing 25's.

I still give a big shout out to @Tommy and @John Conor for helping me with the 25's. Totally above and beyond anything I ever expected!

Yeah. my OCD would probably require a relabel, but one could just use the white chips (labeled as $1) for quarters.

I think that makes a grand total of (2) GO chips that made it out.

I got 1410 $5'a and also got a single GO chip. I am pretty happy about that though, because they aren't that valuable as singles and I'd prefer all the chips in play to be the same.

Was looking the other day to see if any $1's had hit eBay yet because I would like another rack or two  :whistling:. Couldn't resist these little babies, cancelled all the way back on 9/1/05!

Not sure if I should open them.

Cancelled with a punch in the 5 but still usable and apparently now I need dice to go with all my chips (y).

got the Yakama's in play Saturday night ... Thanks Tater for alerting us. I really like these, and they went over well with the group. Although, with the games we play I wish I would have gotten at least one or two more racks of ones. Also got a new setup of Modiano's from the 30% off sale that our playing card vendor had....really nice cards

I have a feeling some of these chips will hit the classified in the next few months.

I agree, I think a lot of folks dove in and bought sets of these without having any prior experience with how V7's handle and/or feel. As they put them into play they will find they don't like the way they handle. A reminder to always get samples first.

Also when the Hybrid GB chips begin to hit some of those folks will be liquidating their V7's to fund those purchases.

I am still on cloud 9 for these chips! I've tried so hard for so long to get a set I was content with and until these landed, I was lost. I went through so many BJ sets I can't even remember them all.

Now I find it weird that after owning (and selling) 4 or 5 sets of CIC chips, I am being drawn to them again.

I still don't love how the V7s feel, but they've grown on me. I'm waiting to get these in play in a couple weeks for our deep stack game to see what the players think, luckily a lot of them are used to handling them at Bay101 and a couple other local rooms. I still find em hard to shuffle sometimes, but I think these are less sticky than the gunked up ones at the casino. Mine may end up hitting the classifieds in lieu of hybrids or even...RHCs, gasp!
