Hello!

Making my first review thread on here so let me know if I spread any misinformation (regarding materials or texture) please feel free to fix it most of what I say are my own opinions however I'm not well versed in plastic materials etc... A little background, I have experience with exclusively poker sized cards, including Copag, Faded Spade, Las Vegas (from a vendor on PCF), Lotfancy and KEMs (only playing with them not dealing with them at the casino). All but the KEM's I've dealt games with for hours (I deal @ higher stake home games since I can't afford the buy in haha).

Shipping & Packaging:
I ordered the cards on 1/3/25 at 1am pst, and Justin shipped them out at 9am 1/3/25 which is insanely fast. For reference I live in WA and I received the package at 4pm 1/10/25 however, my package was expected on 1/8/25 but was delayed. No fault of Justin's, just USPS and them getting my hopes up early... Packaging was great, ordering 2 setups, the box was filled with paper for cushioning so the setups wouldn't move around. Rating 10/10

Storage/Boxes:
I ordered the Poker Jumbo (Orange/Purple) and the Bridge Jumbo (Black/Gold). I am a big fan of boxes that hold both decks rather than tuck boxes, and as I primarily use Jumbo size, I was pretty disappointed seeing that the poker size was in tuck boxes whereas the bridge size wasn't. I'm not sure if the Blue and Green poker size cards Justin sells come in tuck boxes or not but if they don't, why are the orange/purple setup in tuck boxes and not 1 box?! Although tuck boxes aren't personally preferred, these are the best tuck boxes I've personally experienced. Insanely easy to open and close, no resistance or ripping during either process. The Las Vegas cards I got were a pain in the a** the first time I got them in, the box tore instantly as I was trying to open it because the packaging was too tight. Also love the thicker plastic cut card and providing 2 each setup, can't believe copag only provides 1 that's the same material as the card which can get lost in the deck if forgotten about and Faded Spade doesn't even provide any. Tuck box rating 9/10 (only reason I don't give it a 10/10 is because I don't like them lol). Bridge Setup box 10/10 love the clean all black design, only wish the separator was glued down but not a big deal.

Card Designs:
I've read in previous forum that the Spade and Club look way too similar, I'm assuming that he changed that at some point because I can't see it at all. I think the club does look a little stretched (wide) but it really does help differentiate the spade from club. I'm younger, so I enjoy more animated/artistic designs (I think face cards like faded spades are top tier design wise). For some reason I'm not in love with the face card designs, I think they're okay but would say it's on the lower end of tier list compared to other cards I've seen. I do love the A of spades using the Broken Arrow I think that looks sick. Pips and suits are cool, I think I prefer more of a cleaner/smoother look rather than the edgy/sharper font used on the Broken Arrow. Back design was they're very nice, love that it's not full bleed but maybe that's just because I'm not an OG lol. Not in love with the orange and purple colors however, I think they are fun and will definitely be in the rotation, would love to see some black/red or even blue/red setups in the future. Overall artwork and design rating: 5.5/10...

Card Handling:
Will definitely go more in depth in this portion of the review tomorrow night (will edit this post). First impressions are they're pretty thick and stiff, I dealer shuffle (aka not exposing any cards and not doing the bridge method), I'm assuming they just need time to break in and will loosen up a little. The cards are stiffer than copags but I would say the same if not a little less thick than Faded Spades. I like it, it's a happy medium and I'm looking forward to breaking them in. If I'm not mistaken, The face side of the card is a slightly smoother texture than the backs of the cards, love this. Makes it easier to shuffle without the cards exploding while also making it much easier to slide across the felt/mat. While shuffling the what I like to call amateur way (exposing any cards and using a bridge) there's a decent amount of resistance due to the cards being pretty stiff. However what I was mainly looking for was if they cards would explode, and over a very small sample size (20<) of shuffling they didn't explode once. Will update after tomorrow night's session if anything ends up exploding lol. I'm still trying to get used to shuffling bridge size, man these cards are tiny lol and the fact that they're on the stiffer size makes it a little harder for me to handle, I do have long and skinny fingers so maybe that's why... Initial overall rating: 8.5/10... will update after tomorrow.

I received my sets recently as well. My initial impressions are spot on with yours.

Do let us know what impressions you get as to their durability.

I am certain they will be more resistant to bowing than a lot of other decks though I am very interested in finding out how the printing lasts in the long run.

Experience with good quality decks show that even when the card stock hold up, Inks tend to run (the reds especially), as well as thin black lines that border the boxes of the pips in the center.

The new version is should be available soon, with updated back and face designs.
I love the Broken Arrow cards.

OH WOW. I love the inverse yellowed box, the A of spades reminds me of KEMs but I actually think the arrowhead as the A design makes it more unique..? The font also looks a lot cleaner, I think there's a market for both versions for sure, but this one seems a lot more mass appealing and less unique. Also the new back designs are BEAUTIFUL can't wait to see them if the back designed comes into the finalized new product

Yes, I like these too. More info here:

Finally got a home game in with them, players loved the feel of them, they are still pretty stiff so hopefully a couple more hours with them will help loosen them up a little, there was very few times where spades and clubs were mistaken for eachother, thought I should mention that. However dealing wise, I actually think I'm starting to prefer shuffling and pitching bridge as it's less my hands have to stretch however playing I do prefer poker size due to the bigger cards being easy to handle and see across the table!

Just wanted to throw one last update, my mind has actually changed a bit on these cards, the more we use them the less I like them. Feel and everything is amazing, I actually think for the price you can't beat it. However the font of the numbers and the club/spade being so similar makes us rotate these setups out pretty fast because it feels like you have to put more effort into even registering what the cards are. Looking forward to the next version of these as the font looks much cleaner!

The black and gold as well as the poker sized orange and purple…that same design for the face of the cards are incredibly difficult to decipher between the suites. Spades look like clubs and diamond almost resemble the hearts. Even with close proximity. A lot of my players have the same issues…love the cards just hard to see the suites…especially if you have a bigger table. Not entirely sure the overall differences between the black:gold black box vs the green/blue yellow box.

However the green/blue yellow case cards are perfect! Great size face cards easy suite recognition and shuffle great! My guys love them! Can’t wait for the new red:black bridge design!

Either way too good of a deal to pass up! Yall stock up!

Thanks Justin!

agreed, they go out of rotation pretty quick for us when we have faded spades and copags in play. wish I got the green and blue to fully compare but so far the 2 setups I ended up grabbing have been difficult to keep in rotation. I am liking bridge size tho as it's my first bridge setup.

I love the Purple and Orange Poker B.A. cards for the price and the face card art. But I have to agree that especially for clubs and spades, I have had a hard time distinguishing which suit they are, esp for the pip cards. I haven't played with the Bridge cards, but am looking forward to the new Pro design Justin is doing. I know he has started with Bridge, but I'm looking forward to similar design for the Poker size, and also the 4 color ones too.

Grab the blue/green bridge setup with more legible numbers in a modern feel, and check out the group buy for the professional series which have a much more standard design

I commented on the group buy for 1 of each set just waiting on the invoice! The pro series looks great I'm excited for them

Thanks. How many hours would you say did it take to happen?
Maybe around 10 hours of actual game time. Copag and Broken Arrow seem to fade much quicker than any other cards. I wonder if they share the same ink/printing process?

I don't see the slightest fading on Kem, Angel, Lot Fancy and Marion Pro. Modiano Platinums, Fourniers and Desjgn have very slight fading over time.

With my Platinums, I see an eventual fading after prolonged use on the suits (flecks of white and the greying of blacks), as well as the fading of the thin black lines on the box borders of the pips on the number cards.

My players had a really difficult time distinguishing between spades and clubs on the board and the pips, especially the 5 and 9.

I skipped the green blue iteration because of the cream court boxes but am very much looking forward to the Pro series.

I've used the blue and green (updated version but not the new new one that is coming) and my group likes them. I've used them twice this year thus far. The original run I would agree that the pips are too chunky and it's tough to distinguish. We used them a few orbits and switched them out. Got good feedback on them. We use the bridge version because we do PLO bomb pots etc.

Just received the setup of black/gold. Glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks the club/spade is too similar! I do like the font for the numbers and letters though. Probably will keep them as part of collection but not primary deck to play with

I am right there with you, I picked up a set of their bridge sized cards and I finally get why people like them so much. I’m still biased to the look of poker sized cards but pretty much everyone at our self dealt game preferred dealing the smaller set.

But the Broken Arrow cards feel amazing and I can’t wait to get my next set with the new artwork.

Used the blue/green bridge setup in a game that ran about 6 hours and they played great. The only issue as mentioned above was the ink chipping/fading pretty quick after just one game. The physical cards themselves are on par with anything else and are phenomenal, but I'm not sure the ink is going to last long term with moderate use.

Curious what your table surface is?
