Uh, what part of Fragile did they not understand? I really hope they arrived to you ok!
Never put the word Fragile on a package. They consider it a challenge.Uh, what part of Fragile did they not understand? I really hope they arrived to you ok!
Anyone receive cards in Canada yet? I thought I saw somewhere that playing cards were included in the new trade tariffs.

This might be just the right nudge to check if Fournier will do any bigger custom print orders.
Given the apparently horrible availability of Fournier cards in the US, this could be a big moneymaker.
I want some!!
Got my replacements today.
Very nice cards, and exactly as advertised (high quality, readable, nice design), but I'm going to be the first to say that the replacements tactile quality are secondary to the Moop:dianoop: feel.
I will take "unmarked" over butter-soft any day, but there is a notable difference.
I need to do some research as I do like how Fournier cards feel. I have just a couple more reprint decks to ship out and then take a bit of a break. I may fly and meet with the USPC to see about Fournier or research plastics in general.
@desjgn ,
Received my reprinted cards yesterday. Thank you for everything. I can't imaging the stress and anxiety this project has put you through for the past year. There aren't enough words to express how well you have handle this entire incident. (y) :thumbsupy) :thumbsupy)
Jason, you truly showed your class while dealing with the incredible dumpster fire that is @#$&ano
I will be a Desjgn customer for life.
and one more time for old time sake....... F' you @#$&ano :rage:oop:
Old cards came in a box, new cards did not.Without opening the wrapper and touching the cards, is there any way to tell the difference between the old and new cards?

Negative. New cards on the top, old on the bottom. No way to tell which is which. Colors are identical, faces also identical. (Donate all your old ones - send them to me and I'll include them with my next Cigars for the Troops shipment.)
Will do.
I may have mixed up a few decks inadvertently and trying to figure this thing out
Mine arrived yesterday and were a bonus birthday present! At @justsomedude 's last game we had 3 tables with these new cards, Gemaco Superflex, and KEMs. The Desjgns were my favorite of the group! I like the feel of the replacements a lot too. And they look fantastic.
Before the game, JSD asked if he should put the Faded Spade cards in play. I replied, "You should put them in the garbage!" Luckily they did not see the felt.

Right, of course not. But if you're keeping track of feedback, not only do these new cards lack the texture that the others had, they're noticeably stiffer. I'm not interested in cards this stiff and slick, so I might have to stock up on the Victorians or the Casinos, because that stock is glorious. It has been a never-ending opinion on smooth vs. textured feel with cards. I hope to one day find that balance, but I know very well that it is impossible to please everyone.
