Hi everyone,
I’m trying to decide between BR Pro Poker and Sun-Fly PolyChrom for my first custom ceramic chip set, and I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have handled both.
The set would be around 1,000 chips for cash game.
The design is full custom artwork, with printed faces and edge artwork. I’m aiming for a clean/premium look, not cheap-feeling plastic chips.
So far I received these rough prices:

BR Pro Poker:
around $1.10/chip with aligned edge stripes
around $135 shipping to Italy

Sun-Fly PolyChrom RB002A:
around $0.75/chip for 1,000 chips
shipping still to be confirmed

My dilemma is that Sun-Fly is cheaper, but I’m not sure how the quality compares to BR Pro.
For those who have handled both BR Pro ceramics and Sun-Fly PolyChrom chips:
Which one feels better in hand?
Which one has better print quality?
Which one has better edge alignment / rolling edge quality?
Which one stacks better?
Which one sounds better?
Which one would you choose for a first custom set?

I’m probably going to order printed samples from both before placing the full order, but I’d still like to hear real opinions before moving forward.
Thanks!

I was just doing a search for Sunfly hoping there's a group by any time soon and I just happen to run into your question. I've played with the Aria set at the casino. Sunfly makes their tournament chips according to a google search. I love them. I have a sample set of BR chips. They aren't bad but I don't like the little dimples on the side. The Sunfly feels better to me as well and stacks nicely. Shuffling is a breeze imo. Although I'm not sure that the Aria set is the same polychrom you're interested in. BTW did you buy a set of either yet?
