Yes, I found it helpful to have a better framework, interesting examples, equities, and basic strategies for what's happening in multi-card, split-pot games. I don't think it's the "if you only read one book, read this" type. But I think it served its purpose to help me not be totally unaware. I bought the book in advance of a trip to Vegas in Feb 2023, and I was gearing up to play 4/8 and 8/16 O8 at the Orleans.
I was net +$5 in 3 hours of play across both games and had a blast!
