The chips are absolutely filthy. I will be buying an ultrasonic (finally).
Go for the 6L Vevor. More power helps.

Dirty vs quick hand cleaned. The $1000 has a lot of what looks like blue color transfer that doesn't want to come off. Magic eraser would help, but mine is packed away in the back of a moving crate right now. The original $25, $500, and $1000 have gold flecks that show at the right angle under light I didn't notice on first look.

Rack-check marks, perhaps? The $1000 has a lot of what looks like blue color transfer that doesn't want to come off.
There's definitely obvious rack checks, but every chip has it across the whole face and edges. My best guess is the blue spot from shuffling. The $5k appears mostly unused, but the $1k looks to have been used a lot. They stand on edge no problem, but they aren't sharp, shuffle very easily.Rack-check marks, perhaps?
Do the anniversary $25s lack the metallic flack in the one spot? It looks like it in your pic.Dirty vs quick hand cleaned. Wasn’t it confirmed that it wasn’t blaze?Do the anniversary $25s lack the metallic flack in the one spot? It looks like it in your pic.
Any conclusion on the $1k colour? Still seems a little dark for blaze, but so hard to tell from photos.
Im responding to this post where @natumes says he thinks they are blaze under the grime:Wasn’t it confirmed that it wasn’t blaze?

Correct, anniversary $25 no metallic fleck at all.Do the anniversary $25s lack the metallic flack in the one spot? It looks like it in your pic.

oooo I was going to buy some 1's ewwwwLast post before bed. After sorting through the $1s, I noticed 2 different inlays. Black denomination with glossy inlay, and red denomination with textured inlay. The textured inlays are filthy, but most clean up well. There were also some victims of cage violence, I attempted to clean one (top middle) but whatever the black stuff is, it does not want to come off without some extreme force. I was using a hard plastic scraper we usually use on cast iron pans and gave up.

I believe one reason is no more $100 denomination left to purchase (which kinda surprise me as usually there will be a bigger stock of $100s left at the time)14k 25s left (14k on Friday evening)
28k 5s left (30k on Friday)
21.5k 1s left (22k on Friday)
Will be interesting to see how this pans out if a lot of stock lingers (too early to tell but I was surprised at there not being more movement of stock over the weekend).
this and the $1,$5 & $25 look heavily used might be driving people away also yes the $100 and up being gone puts a damper on things for sureI believe one reason is no more $100 denomination left to purchase.
If I making a Cash Set, I will want a barrel of $100 to be include in my $1/1 or $1/2 stake 500 chip set
Mesquite or Majestic? This info (and a lot more) was already discussed in previous threads.
1998 seems to be the cut-off for fully leaded chips...
PCA (1996), Grand Victoria (1996), Sheraton Tunica (1994), Majestic Club (1996, only red denoms) are all fully leaded RHC's (and there are more)
Mesquite Star opened in 1998 and while they have metal flakes...they are not leaded in the same way as the above (and their weight show that)
Hey, do you mind taking a couple pics of the $1,$5, and $25s in barrels stacked next to each other? Just wanted to get an idea of how much they vary in thickness. I’m sure it’s all over the place. Thanks! The chips are absolutely filthy. I will be buying an ultrasonic (finally).
$1-$25 are 21 chips to a barrel in 66.7 racks
$1 are beat up and some filthy inlays, possibly water damaged inlays
$5 has multiple inlays, bacc room/chinese are the least worn, some look almost sharp with flea bites. I went through 2 racks (5 more to open) and got 120 white inlay, 26 pink/red inlay, 19 pink/blue inlay, 42 bacc/chinese inlay, and 3 grand opening (210 chips in 2 boxes)
$25 has 2 inlays, anniversary inlay slightly better condition
$100s are close to fitting 21
$500s are in good condition
$1000s are the most worn 43mm I've personally seen, but still in good condition, and I believe they are blaze orange under the grime
$5000 have sharp edges, just dirty on the edges, faces are mostly clean
