If you click on the chips it will put them in a PayPal cart, when you go to pay, if it works then they are still in stock, if they are out of stock it will give you a message saying these are no longer available... So I have been buying these for a while, the Paulson $2,$3 and BCC $5,$10 are sold out. Leaving the Paulson $5 and BCC $2 and $3 in stock... But I have no idea how many of each are left!

Casinos need to have a secondary set of chips on premises in the event that their primary set is breached in some way such as counterfeit chips etc...
No stupid questions here! ^ yep that. Many states require casinos to have backup chips if the chips’ security they’re using (primary) is compromised. Could be wrong but I’m pretty sure most only need secondary chips for $25+ but sometimes you’ll see $5+ secondaries.
It’s super rare that the security is breached (I don’t know of it ever happening) so if/when the casinos chips ever hit the secondary market here, the secondary chips will have never been played with 99% of the time. So while “secondary” isn’t a synonym for new/mint/uncirculated, it generally means they have much less, if any wear.

Basically, some casinos are required to have an alternate version of their chips (secondary) incase they need to replace the main (primary) ones because of some sort of security breach like counterfeit chips discovered. For the most part, the secondaries almost never see action and are usually in mint condition.

no they're the same exact material and quality build as the primaries. the only difference is the chip colors and spotting which is only done to be able to easily distinguish between the two sets (think of it as the difference needed between different casino's chips)
^ I guess they could be different if the changed from say "clay" to "ceramic" chips at a later date (even then they'd likely not buy new/different secondary chips) but 99% of the time the primary and secondary chips will be identical
i actually think the secondaries get lesser use so are in better shape at times
