I'm just trying to confirm whether there are two versions of the 100.
In this image that you posted last week, those 100 edges look brown to me:

Interesting…most of those look brown. The couple barrels to the right look darker, but look more like charcoal than black. May be the lighting.

Yeah majority are brown for me. Maybe 60/40 ratio. Here’s a color reference for the two versions. I would say they’re dark brown and charcoal

For those of us running with the Fat Hat set and wanna bring it places, any recommendation on how to carry 5-6 racks of fat hats around? Any good cases?

For those of us curious, I lead tested the Fat Hat set with "Safe Home" lead swabs. They're supposed to detect lead above 5 PPM.

The Fat Hats were made at an interesting point in Paulson's history, cause they were in the middle of the phase out. From this source https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...n-chips-still-had-lead-in-them-after-98.8291/ it appears Fuschia (the 10,000) may still be 47% lead in this set, but you'd need more testing to confirm.

My own testing of the FatHat set gave these results:

White (100): No lead detected/below 5PPM
Green (500): Lead detected/above 5PPM
Blue (1000): No Lead detected/below 5PPM
Yellow (5000): Lead detected/above 5PPM
Fuschia (10000): Lead detected/above 5PPM

So wow, it's clearly right in the middle of the phase out. I'm a bit anal about lead unfortunately (at the age where you start thinking about this kind of stuff/poker group is getting into the having kids range) so likely won't be playing with these (once Jim's out of these sets, feel free to DM me, but as of 1/20 you can still buy a Fat Hat set from him), but for you lead head folks out there, there could be some interesting chips in this set. Apologies for not knowing the exact color names except Fuschia also.

FWIW, I have a couple hundred+ older black Starbursts — LCVs iirc — and I would describe them as jet black. Not a warm brownish black, nor a cold blueish black. Jet black.

Well, Jim (TheChipRoom) usually has these sales on Black Friday.
But he will also have sales when he gets new stock (from closed down casinos).
He'll also have sales when he tries to clear space.

The sales are announced ahead of time to give everyone a chance to prepare. Instructions will be give on when the sales links will go live. After that, just click a link, add to cart and check out.

Hint: these sales don't really have an expiration date. If the link is still active and you can add to cart AND check out, you will still get the products. Even months later.
