I am reposting this with new pics after some members gave me some pointers. This is the chipset for an underground game that ran for many years in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have broken down into 4 separate sets(see last photo attached for breakdown) including a limit set. $2500 shipped per set or $9500 for everything. sets will ship in 2 red felt cases from CPC.

These might've not got a lot of motion the first time because they're priced above the cost to produce based on last available CPC prices. The secondary market is softer on personal chips which would have to be murder (label removed) in order to make them repurposable for the new buyer. That along with not being able to choose spot design or color, these are above the current market price like pippa pointed out.

thank you for detailed response. although i would disagree with price to produce(i believe this set was ~$3 per chip to make) the rest of your comment makes sense. I am hoping there is appeal due to these chips being from an underground casino rather than a custom vanity set. If they do not sell I would likely be open to dropping the price. Thank you for your help. I am also awaiting new pricing from CPC and will reevaluate from there

Guys, this set contains 2,075 inlaid L1 chips, 1,340 inlaid L3 chips, 240 inlaid L4 chips, and 128 inlaid L8 chips. Cost to produce by CPC's last known pricing chart was $9,958.17.
i would have to check my records but this sounds accurate, thank you

Sure are if you buy brand new
A mold CPC running for $1 to $1.50
This chips see long hours already
But again
If the price will drop we can talk

I thought people could sell their stuff for whatever they want. These are nice discussions but may have been better suited for pm’s.

Is pricing in For Sale ads debatable now?

Imo commenting or even pm-ing about what a price “should be” is in bad form if you’re not willing to make an offer yourself. This is supposedly a free market: either OP will find a buyer at the price he’s setting, or he’ll lower price or cancel sale if there is insufficient demand. I’ve been here long enough to see chips or sets go at times above their own “typical” price. Just my 2c, GLWS!
