Sitting Out
As I try to complete my WSOP set, I came across this conundrum. I know oils and time can alter the color of a chip, but these two variations (of what should be the same chip) were vastly different.
Image one is from the thread on this forum. It aligns with the image used on Chipguide in picture three. Lavender/neon blue would be the colors I see.
Image two looks pink/light green to me.
While image three does show that lavender/neon blue layout, it does mention light green as the insert.
What is the most confusing to me is that I have seen both examples listed and sold through transactions on here. Is this just a simple case of discoloration over time because of playability? Or what am I missing as to why these chips look so different from one another? Thanks!
