If you look closely at the right column second from the bottom you can see clearly it's a (mandarin) red base

There is only one great red chip (comes in two flavors ... no Danny Gans, puppets, or Sig & Roy pics allowed on the label). I personally don't like red chips except for the ones that have these white spots.

Interesting, because the front left chip clearly shows a green base.
I guess they balance clay usage in quarter-pies that way.

Ok I lied ...besides the Mirage (and the old school Bellagio $5s with the same spots), I like these ... but thats it (all other reds kind of stink). Wynn Vegas $5's are the same as these TIs but have a boring label

I've always felt the red chip is the ugliest of all possible chip colors.
The Aria Cranberry is the only exception to the rule, though the Pacific Star $5 and the Aurora Star $5 are solidly "acceptable".
My apologies to everyone else that spent money on chips in this thread, but this thread could be duplicated as a Fugly chip thread.
I would hazard a guess that over the last five years, more money has changed hands on PCA $5s than any other chip.
At least they don't have childish zombies or skulls on them...
