Hey Guys!

I've recently gone down the rabbit hole of finding a good set of ceramic poker chips for my table to upgrade from our monte carlo chips. My budget is 250-300$ & ideally I need at least 600 chips. The game is mostly .25-.50 but I feel like we might end up going to .50-1 & 1-2.

1) I really liked the Apache chips; soecifically, the Empire chips or Majestic Poker room chips.
2)I've looked at the Milano's as well but haven't heard the greatest of reviews on them.
3)This ceramic set from ThePokerRoom really caught my eye - The "Valentino" ceramic casino chips but I could not see these on any other website so was wondering if these are knockoffs?
4)Finally, the Vercelli's from ChipDaddy also look really nice but I don't know if that website is legit either.

Let me know your guy's thoughts!

Majestic, Milano are china clays, not ceramics. You'll want samples so you can feel the difference.

Empires are ceramics, along with Taj Mahal and Penthouse.

I don't know anything about ChipDaddy and I've had limited experience with The Poker Room. For your first set, I'd recommend someone trusted in the community. You can't go wrong with Apache.

I think the very best chip right now in the .50 per is the web or Greek mold ceramics in Justin’s group buys. In that price range, they offer the best feel, colors, and detailed labels if any chip.
There’s a group buy every month, here’s this month’s:

There’s a ton of different stock sets, or make a custom one for your game.

The more I see you posting about these the more i’m realizing how awesome they are.

It showcases what ceramics have over clay. The full art and custom edges. They stack like bricks and come in at 10g. I’m not a ceramic guy but I love these chips. The tourney chips is 1/15th the cost of my Ojibwas and I like them the same.
