Some here know me, others don´t. I used to be a big player in the Icelandic poker scene, I had my own store, I worked at the clubs and floored tournaments. My love for the game got lost in that progress a hobby became work/life and that was to much. So I decided to quit, and did so with excellence, closed my store, stopped playing and sold most all of my stuff. Three years later there were few things bugging me, first of all my love for pokerchips never stopped and I always missed PCF and my friendly fun homegames.
I still though back with a smile to the meetup in Florida where I payed full price to learn Circus games at @k9dr . And @inca911 thought me OPFC that I sometimes play with my mom still today.
Highlight was then when few PCF'ers came to Iceland for a meetup https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/berzerkr-island-17-21-october.26505/
I have players still talking about that and how much fun it was.
This atmosphere that runs in the meetups is what I want to create in my homegames, I also dream to be able to play something else than just Hold'em but I realise that will be a challenge as pot limit is not even played in the clubs here in Iceland.
I sent out an invite list to few old fellows for a microstake Mixed game next friday.
25/25kr blinds 3000kr or 1/2 big stack buy-ins

I still own one of my old cash sets Pink are 2500kr Blacks are 10.000kr and White are Bounty so we will rock this one to begin with
I also aim to host tournaments, I just orderd my custom CPC set that will be my event tournament set but will also be able to run cash games. I also found my event ceramic tournament set, that is staggering 3291 chips, so Im safe to host any tournament under 60-70 people even as that is not on the plan.
This was the first set I designed and there are some mistakes there, the 50's are useless and the 10.000 should have been 25k chips. Also the design is very basic and wont win any awards but they do the job of being nice fresh ceramics that have a nice sound. And they support a very big meetup
Also found another small set 450x 100 and 50x10.000 that is fun to have for OPFC
Here I will follow how my game is going
