Any advice on where to stay in Bermuda? Long story short I'm departing for a month-long oceanographic research cruise from the Institute there and missing her birthday, so I'm making the wife tag along as a few days worth of honeymoon before I leave. Definitely not wealthy but have some money put aside for this adventure so I'm willing to spend more to keep her happy.

Thanks! Psyched for it. Can't go into specifics because its related to Department of Defense funding, but we're using robots to track and model sound propagation. Think Hunt for Red October: the ocean stratifies (layers) itself naturally due to temp and density, and those layers change how sound travels. There's places in the ocean that refract (bend) sound more than others, we're heading to one of those.

Good question; mid May. Water will still be cold but we're ocean people.

Ha! Not excited about that part but at least most of my trip is covered by per diem rates which are also astronomical. Good call.
