No, not at all. The natives that own and use the land ask for respect in not climbing it so we’re happy to comply.
Quite a few others are climbing, but not as heavy as you would think. Pretty nasty though, four hour round trip with no facilities and people drinking litres and litres of water and nowhere to do business except off the trail. So when it does rain the waterholes are filled with piss and shit and camera batteries and diapers and food wrappers that has accumulated in the Months before with no rain.
Less than 20% of the people coming were climbing it anyway, so its not like a big attraction for the park.
sorry for the long response, but if i had some people over to my house and/or town and then found they were climbing on top of the local church or my house and then shitting on it, I’d ask them to be more respectful, actually I’d probably run them off after their trip to the hospital.
