Yes, you read well. For personal reasons, I'm retiring from chips collecting and I'm selling my entire collection (ACF, Ritz, Mapes, Foxwoods, Bourbon Street and more...). I decided to begin with these mythical chips. I'm selling the whole lot so please don't ask for samples.

Clarification : 'Personal reasons' doesn't mean I'm in need of money. So if it is not sold, I should be able to survive...

A real heartbreak, but here they are...

BREAKDOWN :

569 chips + dealer button + cut card
25 x 98
100 x 177
500 x 98
1.000 x 140
5.000 x 38
10.000 x 18

RULES :

  1. Starting bid : 6500€ (EUR).
  2. Bids must be placed in euro (EUR), minimum increments of 100€ (EUR).
  3. All bids are binding.
  4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/conversation.
  5. Auction will use the '10 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at Sunday, December 17th, 20:00 CET (FRANCE - Paris Time - UTC +1) will win unless there is a bid within 10 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be 10 minutes after the latest bid was posted.
  6. Edited posts will be voided.
  7. I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time, edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
  8. PCF (owner, admins and moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.

Let's not overlook the T25 - the best T25 chip ever... and I would include my own customs in that opinion!

OK, the ACF chips would look better with a French Zombie pilot, but still...

There basically aren't enough T25 chips in anybody's set..... and most don't have ANY.

Only a couple of sets that are truly T25-base capable (and only single-table at that). Might be one set with two full racks of T25s. T500s are in pretty short supply, too.

I think I could make it work, despite these "limitations". :D

Not enough 25s or hundos in the set for me to bid. But if I ever did, and won, I would send Dan a chip, gratis.

Just get some Casino De Mexico 10/10ks (or another chip that closely matches) and relabel..
or change them to pennies and use it as a quirky cash set..
or put them in a birdcage and hang them on your wall as art.
Many possibilities (y)

So so glad to hear this. Makes my decision so much more rationale/easier (y)

It seems the only answer is for someone to buy this set and then sell it off as a slew of sample sets and singles.

Will never tell anyone what to do with their money, but this should not be allowed. By law. Should become part of the chipping constitution :p

Gosh, this kinda makes me want to do it! Alas, $6400 is too steep for a lark!

Wow, ending on Sunday night in the EU and Sunday evening in the U.S. That's a Pay Per View quality event. The railbirds should have to pay for threadside viewing. But the cost also includes a raffle entry for a single T100. Let's get creative.

Dec 17 made an international holiday. Jour de la Vente.
