Attention Retirees!! (1 Viewer)

Dude, the mailman now has your chips. You can see them in action at his home game. Give it up, learn the lesson (USE FEDEX), and move on already

Nope. They are coming. I know they are. It just might be a few more weeks...:cautious:

Fed ex sucks.
I'm working seasonally for ups, to date that I I have confirmed I have deliver 1 package with chips in it
I may have delivered others but unaware yet. I also dont think usps hires seasonal bc its "government"

They do. I lose staff every year for people who go seasonal in hopes they can slip into FT. Few have even made it. Some come back.

USPS here uses temp agencies for seasonal help. And UPS has lost shipments of computer parts on me more than once

This is funny. The USPS is definitely giving up at the moment. I'm sure they will catch up in a month or so but damn....so many things not delivered right now. I'm actually curious where they are storing everything they are not delivering.

I had a chip shipment sent two-day priority mail via @horseshoez last Saturday. It arrived in Kansas City on Monday, scheduled for Tuesday delivery. Then, it sat at the KC distribution center until this morning with the USPS dreaded tracking message: "In transit, delivery delayed." I actually called the local disto center yesterday and asked since they weren't too far from me, was it OK if I just went over in person to pick it up :D

Nope.

Why do we pay for two-day priority mail again?

They wouldn’t let you pick it up??

We really need substitute teachers as well.
Been there... done that
Getting a call at 6am to be at school at 720am is not something a retiree is interested in when we typically don't get out
of bed until 9 ;):D

Seriously, I enjoyed teaching, but substitute "teaching" is glorified baby sitting

It is absolutely insane I can get some packages in 3 days from Texas in priority boxes but not from cali or down south in 3 weeks... I guess it all depends which distribution center it goes through!
My IOC sample set from the Chiproom black friday sale took almost 2 weeks from Utah to MD

That's a negative, Ghost Rider. The pattern was apparently full.

That said, it did eventually change from "in transit" this morning to "out for delivery" after spending the week in the distro center. Celebration time!
