I have been presented with an offer to buy these chips. I'm told they are Paulson's but I can't find any images on the interwebs that are just like them. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

They are Paulsons. They appear to be in casino used condition and have been cleaned at some point.

Thanks so much! That is exactly how they have been advertised. The seller sent photos of any chips with flea bites etc but I just wanted to be sure they were real. He's asking 800 Canadian for 200 each of $1, $5, $25. Does this seem like a fair price?

I have so many questions regarding grading of chip quality and condition. Is there a thread where this outlined?

The green chips are eldorado club $0.50 (Gardens, CA). The blue chips are Eldorado Club $1’s. The red chips are Town Tavern $5’s (Las Vegas, NV).

I’d be concerned about the chips not sitting flush with those labels. If the hot stamps were not milled in order to create a recess for the label, then that middle surface might sit higher than the rest of the chip causing “spinners.”

I just started milling my El Dorados. You could probably get away without if you had a thin label. But I'm putting on a textured label so I need a bit more of a recess.

Sweet! Can’t wait to see what they transform into. I think I’m going to have to mill some myself if I want to include them in the relabel set I’m working on, also using textured labels:tup:

Thanks for all the feedback folks. The amount of knowledge being presented in these last few minutes is impressive.
