Apache Rack Review (1 Viewer)

I guess....but when I’ve played poker at casinos, the chips never fit in the racks like that. They always fit nice and tight, and both the racks and chips were well used and worn.
Unfortunately that’s not true everywhere. You can fit 21 worn Aria chips into their 67.7mm racks. They should change to smaller 66.7mm racks...

That’s a bummer. But with worn chips you are going to have that same problem with a Matsui, Paulson, or Chipco racks. Are use the plastic spacers like the one from Spinetti‘s (although got them on Amazon for cheap) and they work but they’re not perfect. I know @One Eyed Dollar was making spacers for the Matsuis...Maybe he will make some for the Apaches?
Thanks! I didn't realize these racks existed until just now. I just ordered one for R&D purposes for spacers.

After reading through the reviews in this thread, I recently ordered 20 racks to try them out. They arrived today, are pretty sweet and as others pointed out, they fit perfectly in a standard birdcage.

Looks like I'll dive back in and purchase more (just not @BearMetal's order level :p) .

Hi just wondering if anyone can tell me.. Do these new racks fit into standard birdcages?
There's no such thing as a "standard" birdcage since they all vary WRT their interior and exterior dimensions. With that said, yes, they do, as long as the birdcage meets these qualifications:

The birdcage must measure: 9 5/8" wide (8 7/8" interior platform)
A birdcage that measures 8.75" wide (8 3/8" interior platform) will NOT fit

FWIW and in case anyone has both matsui racks and apache racks, you can mix and match the top and bottom halves of the racks - that'll allow you to line up the holes and interlock the racks to stack them securely; just need to keep alternating tops and bottoms though

If someone mentioned this already, feel free to ignore, because i didn't bother to search lol

I sold my Matsui racks to buy these Apache racks. Partly OCD, partly because I think they are a better design and sturdier, partly because when I need more I can get them faster and cheaper than Matsuis.

Matsui racks were like a gift from the heavens when I first started here. My very first set were the Apache Royals, and I had no where to store them. I can't let my old Matsui's go; they're like an old friend who was there for you when you needed them.

Oh boy, I need help.

I agree, the design is better on the apache racks - the apache guardrails are a definite improvement and @One Eyed Dollar 's spacers look like that fit the racks and chips beautifully, but putting it all together would be the nuts. @Apache any chance you can incorporate the standard chip sleeves within the apaches to cradle the barrels like the standard racks?

Genius

I just ordered 13 of these. The price was just under $50….but the shipping was over $20!! Is this normal with this company? I think I shipped 1000 clay chips around that price a couple years ago!!
