Apache Majestic or Pharaoh (1 Viewer)

Is the Apache Mystic or Pharaoh chips the best for a 10g Paulson feel for a micro stakes game for under $300 shipped for a 500 set? Any other recommendations for other chips that have 5cent offerings? I considered the Monte Carlo at half the price but feel like I might be disappointed as I know they're 14g and smooth texture.

I've heard the edge goes to Majestics. But why not consider 43mm Royals or maybe the Monaco web mold ceramics?

A number of Tina ceramic sets have both a 5c and/or an NCV (no cash value: ie, no denom) option, if you decide to go that route. If you end up going with one of Apache's options, you could always label yourself. Buy a blank of whatever color you like and then order labels in 5c to put on yourself from @Gear. They have access to the artwork from Apache (or at least close enough that you can't tell the difference) and so you can put Majestic or Royal labels with whichever denom you like, on whichever chip you like.

I did the same thing with my set because I didn't care for the brown $5000 chip from Majestic and so I labeled blank orange chips with the 5k label from Gear.

I got the Taj Mahal, they're nice but still going for more Paulson cause they're so much nicer !
Majestics are nice too I tried them.

I've had my Pharaohs for a couple years and love them. I use mine that same as you and the $.05 was the deciding factor.

If I bought Paulsons they'd be cabinet Queens!!! To dang pretty to use in my opinion!!!!

Ah yes, the eternal struggle: chasing that Paulson feel on a Top Ramen budget. Apache Mystic and Pharaohs will get you 80% of the way there without having to sell a kidney. Monte Carlos? Great if you want to simulate playing poker at an off-brand cruise ship
