So i was looking for solitaire games that don't take up that much space on a table, and found a dumb site that had games to play in isolation (vintage article). i make fun on them because the games listed have been in card game books forever, and they all were infuriatingly only luck based to win. i don't like content farm reposting like that (food recipes don't get me started)

but they have these plastic playing cards for sale linked in these games, i went "huh gotta see this scam". but they're designed and printed in the US, don't know exactly what that means but sounds like made in the USA fully? they're pvc from what the site says, the back designs are just okay and the red is the bright nucellar red that hurts to look at. they have some cool jokers that have dragons on them, can't see many face cards but what is shown is at least different from every other brand.

if this is a sleeper thats so cool, but if someone on PCF ever bought these or picks them up please let me know. the back design leaves a bit of desire BUT, they do kind of have an old school vibe to them like a "fancy" deck you'd buy in the 70s. or "elegant" in the 80's, maybe at some point i'll pick these up as i don't know how many were printed. and if i'd ever find them again. but after some other playing card hauls and other stuff paid for, i know dal negro is top quality vs risking on unknown denexa

they come in poker and bridge, standard and super index. no different back designs or colors it seems

The ace of spades looks like it says “Norman OK”, which is not a well known card manufacturing area. But it is in the USA.

I bought a few Denexa set-ups a few years back.

Opened one up, used in one game and did not care for it. Unfortunately I can't remember the reason, wish I did.

I ended up selling the other set-ups, and even the one with one game on it, so can't go back and check for you.

In full disclosure, I'm a bit particular with my playing cards so take my 'not liking' the Denexas with a grain of salt.

They sound a lot like repackaged Royals.
The faces and ace look different, and being made in the US vs Taiwan. Though that doesn't mean they'll be nice or good to handle, i just thought playing with a brand that's basically unknown is cool when i didn't want to play with the "big hitters". Though again if they are low quality I'd avoid them, i know people talk about Royals but I'm not interested. Seems like they are good value but the artwork on the front and back is just okay, and how people describe the texture and how they shuffle. I'd almost take paper cards over them, if i got the chance to try them myself maybe. But these are a tad hard to jump on, with Gemaco being around the same price or finally have a set of playable copags
