Sup everyone,

Found a pretty cool set of antique clay chips with the double Star of David on them from FB marketplace. Seller claims there from early 1900s. Saw the singles selling for about $5 on eBay but wondering if anyone had any experience with these? The seller is asking a good price so I’m wondering if these are worth picking up to hold onto?

Thanks!

I think USPCC made those back in the early 1900s.
Yes. And they were called paranoids. So that’s a good place to start research. From my recollection, there are real USPCC paranoids and there are knockoffs.
I wouldn’t try to put a value on them, but there doesn’t seem to be a big market for them. At least not here on PCF. So I’d say they’re worth buying if you lie the price and you want to keep them. Resale, no idea.
