trying to determine the value of these chips. I have emailed Crisloid directly and they can't find them in any of their old catalogues and the reference number 2220 does not come up anywhere. I can find lots of plastic chips when searching on line but nothing like this. Would like to know if these are worth the $70 they are being listed for on FB Marketplace. The set includes 100 Red, 100 Blue and 200 White chips. thanks

Looks like the Fort Bliss chip is the only one on that mold.

For $70, I would certainly grab them, if for no reason other than the novelty!

that is the mold but I don't think that they have anything embossed onto them (they are blanks). I am going to check them out in person. THANKS

The issue with this type of chip is if you plan to use them for a game, you're not going to have the right amount of denoms, and it seems like these might be harder to source, it seems like a waste to me. If you're looking to collect over a more extended period, cool, but if you want them for a game you plan to host next month, I would go with something more readily available

It's identified by Eisenstadt but oddly didn't get an "MD" number, last one on the page linked below, with the comment "It's a pretty light weight chip with a bit of plastic in the clay composition. There are no ejector pin marks or anything like that."

I'm guessing it's very light indeed, but could have a nice non-slippery texture. Similar to the "Lazy Spades" mold MD-34 described as "Casino Clay-type Gaming Chips as used at world famous casinos..... available in 8 colors."

If you do end up buying them, and could spare one I'd be happy to add it to my growing "every mold" board as it's one I'm missing (and pay a fair price).

**edit**

Just found a similar set on eBay in case anyone's interested. $60 + $23 shipping. Wooden case, includes a little "Made in Providence" plaque.

Someone (with more drive and energy than me) would buy both from the above links for relatively cheap.

You have 700 blank chips for less than 200 USD that just might be clay in three colors.

Hot-stamp city.
