Tourney Another Starting Stack Question (1 Viewer)

Any suggestions for expansion of this set?
Only thing I would do is add 200 x T25, so it could also be used for T10000 events. The remaining quantities are fine imo.

My T25K chips are relabeled greens.

I figure there would never be a time where I would have T25 and T25K in play at the same time, so is using the same chip color a concern?

Correct - T25s will be long gone before T25Ks make an appearance (if ever).

Why not just order 25 unlabeled pinks and swap the labels from the greens. Then you can just order the 200 $25 if you decided to, and see if Apache would toss in some extra $25 labels.

Keep in mind our set has the older faded label design. Also, I think the sample set i got (newer label version) has a slightly softer feel than the set we bought. Small sample size I know, but every sample chip is about .6-.9 gram heavier too.

Yeah, that's an option too. I'll have to check the labels when I get home. I don't recall noticing the sample labels as any different from the set we got.

Take a second look, and compare the weight of 10 100's vs the 10 samples. The 100's are kinda the stepchild of the lot it seems, at least the initial production run which I suspect we have. I'm splitting hairs for what we paid, but then again this is the place to.

I did notice that one of my 100s was sightly undersized in diameter. I replaced the runt I found with the sample 100.

@BGinGA With the new breakdown, what structure would you suggest for a T10000 tourney for up to 16-18 players?

T25 x 200
T100 x 200
T500 x 100
T1000 x 180
T5000 x 100
T25000 x 20

what structure would you suggest for a T10000 tourney for up to 16-18 players?
T10000 starting stacks (12/12/5/6), and replace L1/L2 with the following six levels in the structure previously shown:

T10K stacks (200bb)
lvl sb bb
L1 25 50
L2 25 75
L3 50 100
L4 75 150
L5 100 200
L6 150 300
remove T25 chips

then resume the other structure at:
L3 200 400
L4 300 600
etc.

Still 4 hours max with 16 players, ending by new L16 (4000/8000). Adding a T5000 chip to the starting stacks (12/12/5/6/1, 300bb) adds an additional 15-minutes to the total time.

For more than 16 players (up to 23), you'll need the starting stacks to be 8/8/4/7 (or 8/8/4/7/1, if T15K).

Thanks so much. I'm sure you get asked these questions over and over, really appreciate your willingness to help!

I'd think a breakdown resource he could just link to might be worth writing up! Of course I couldn't write it, he'd have to lol.

I'd much rather just paste a link for the noobs. Then again... sets are often purchased with shitty breakdowns so he'd probably still be flooded with PM's like I did requesting specific advice.

Yeah, I imagine there's so many breakdowns that I don't know if there's a boilerplate option that would work.

You could probably program some logic into it and make an excel spreadsheet. I would work on it myself...but that would require the requisite knowledge on what a good breakdown is haha.
