All Roadhouse PRON goes here! (1 Viewer)

The $1 and $5 come out nice when cleaned.

I've never cleaned chips...any thoughts/tips/links on what you guys did specific to these chips? Anything NOT to do? I want to clean mine up just because.
Ultrasonic cleaner with a TSP* cleaner such as Lundmark (there's a few threads on this) is the hands down best and quickest but unless you're going to plan on buying 800+ casino used (gunky) chips then it's probably not worth it. The other option will bring you and your chips to a new level of intimacy and tire out your hand (hello out of context thread) plus will take a while but is cheap as hell. This would be warm water, dawn, and a magic eraser or some kind of bristle brush (you'll go through one magic eraser per 200 chips or so but I like this method better).

There's in-depth threads on both ways and after each I'd look up the threads about oiling your chips as ultrasonic will definitely dry the chips out and by hand might a bit as well. You don't have to oil as natural oils on people's hand will do the trick over time but pre-oiling will help keep them a bit cleaner and get them looking fresh from the start!

I use the dawn/warm water/magic eraser combo when cleaning chips after doing inlay removal.
There is something to be said about getting up close and personal with each individual chip.... I think I have a problem.

Lundmark is TSP. TSP can be used whether going ultrasonic or hand cleaning and will save you a ton of elbow grease over using straight Dawn. I soak in the TSP and keep a toothbrush sitting in a cup of water with Dawn and use both. For edges, I swipe the chip edge on a magic eraser to finish.

Awesome chips, are they for sale anywhere?
They were for sale starting last Sunday in the Chip Room forum here. I think it might only be the $25 still available. I did also see small sets of these for sale on the Apache site, but they were for a much higher price (though cleaned up).

Has anyone else noticed the slight pink on some of the white spots on the $500 once cleaned? Seems like some colour transfer from the purple/blue. I noticed this on chips I manually removed the inlay and on ones I used Nail Polish Remover on.

For reference, it is very very faint. Hard to notice if you aren't looking for it.

It's a random grand opening chip that was mixed in there lol. I like it.

What is the black one in the row 6 from the right?
Hmm...is it one of these? @sheikh617 fill us in and feel free to send it to me! Oops...looks like we cross-posted. Anyhow, I'll take it if it's available.

Has anyone else found any odd varieties in their Roadhouse chip assortments?
