Guys yes I know a lot of you are worried about your chips and money and also about @BarrieJ3 . I also worry about @BarrieJ3 . This happened one other time and it was a major life event that kept him away from the PCF. He did the same thing he signed on, but never responded to any mails and people saw that he signed on. He eventually came back and made everything right with everyone on here. When he came back he was very involved in the PCF Again like he just was. I think something Major happened to him or his family and all we can do is Pray for him and his family and know that he'll be back and handle everything that is outstanding.

He told me that he got about half of the packages sent out yesterday, and is trying to get the rest out this afternoon. He also said that he will "jump back online to get everyone’s tracking #s PMed to them."

I don't have any more information than that. But it sounds like good news. So y'all can just ...

Same for me. I know you are getting frustrated. Maybe beyond frustrated. So am I. All I can do is attempt to stay in contact with him, and hopefully the packages will start to arrive. He said he had half shipped last Thursday and the other half would be shipped last Friday. And he would provide tracking numbers to everyone. But he has yet to log back on. All we can do is just hang tight, I guess. I will update with info as I have it.

Pretty good reminder of the tip I gave people regarding placing purchases on their card via PayPal or Venmo when they can in case of the need for a Purchase Protection claim. 99% of the people would definitely say that they'd rather have the chips though, I'm one of them.

At the very least, a message that sounds something like “I’m not able to send you the items you’ve purchased, I’d like to send the money back to you...” or similar is in order. To just completely shun every single message isn’t helping whatsoever. Do we have to find another lamp picture from @Windwalker to get his attention? Wtf?!

I spent 3 months losing weight in a challenge Jeff created only for him to disappear there too. His ‘bounty’ was what kept me going for months and then nothing. The same as being out cash? Not even close. But still stings.

That being said, I’m sure there’s a reason, I’m hoping it’s less severe than some I can envision in this environment, but most importantly...I’m sure he’ll make it right based on what I’ve heard of his reputation thus far on the forum.

It’s beginning to look suspicious as much as concerning. Which it definitely may not be at all, it’s not an accusation, but it’s hard not to feel that way when there is apparently more to the story than anyone will tell those who are waiting.

If @BarrieJ3 has claimed that he will explain himself when he returns then I think it is reasonable to ask him if someone who communicates with him would be able to give a little more information to the rest of us, with respect to his privacy as well. We certainly don’t need personal details but at the very least a reason for how he could be away from his computer/phone/house for this long would be common courtesy.

At this point, I just need to know if I should give up on the sale and look for a different gift with a refund in mind when he returns. Really, any direction would be nice.

The direction that can be given has already been given. We got nothing, no one knows anything, and no one can explain why this is occuring.

We know it's happened twice before and he made right, but past that.... Everyone is in the same boat.

This has been a couple of pages of "Why", when literally no one can or should answer that but @BarrieJ3 .

Not saying it's fair or right, but until Barrie shows up and takes his annual "wtf" verbal beating, nothing can be done.

@Himewad has done what he can, and is right to relay what he can without details. Those details arnt his to explain. If something major did happen that he needs to get thru, PCF should be the least of his worries. I get it sucks to be in this spot, but when a forums deals are run on trust and good faith, sometimes life can derail that. I would have handled it a different way, but no one knows how they would until the event happens.

He said on Friday that half of the packages were shipped out last Thursday, and the other half would be happening last Friday afternoon. But I have no idea if that actually happened. If anyone receives a package from him, please post here so that we know things are progressing.

Same here. Except my chips were only $85, so I don't really feel robbed.... yet.

@BarrieJ3, I can't speak for others, I'm in absolutely no hurry to get my chips. I know how for me, sometimes life + work can get stressful and overwhelming, and I can commiserate with this if that's the case. We'd just like any brief update you can provide, please. Even if it's 'please give me until January 15', that's ok with me.

I see it shows he's "last seen" on this site last Wednesday. Which seems to show he's logged on here.
