Received my low limit set. I took some initial pictures of there 1000/500 rack....dirty smelly chips.....

As I clean my way through this set and read up on it, I'm left with a question: did the snappers all get destroyed? Or, is it possible they may surface at some point? Sure would make a nice frac for the set!

If I remember correctly, Jim said the snappers were all in awful shape/broken/etc.

At last I can join the Majestic Star Pr0n party; cleaned up some of the chip and to my surprise i manage to find a set of zodiac animals among my 2 racks of $5Also cleaned up a few of each denomination to see how they looked after cleaned

I was able to withstand to add more except the hundos...once I received them I had to get 2 more.
I also have 2 racks of $500 at my reshipper...hope to get one decent rack from these:
For the $5 chips I have
$25 chip
I have 2 racks PCA $1 that could be added (but I want to check out the other chips IRL to see if this works together)

Yes, I wouldn’t either, mints like this are for collection. I have chips I play with and chips I collect and mantle. Good going, these chips are different from others, killer price, enjoy.

Nice, good contrast among the chips. Some $500’s have a yellowish hue from bleach solution sitting too long on chips and it concentrating on the chip, can be removed mostly with wet sand 600+. Most are VVG condition, 2nd best condition out of the chips as a group, very few mint. I think you’ll like them regardless once cleaned, bright esp in light.
I impulsively bought some of these right before they got cleaned out. IMO these do not belong in racks and I had an idea that I would fill up one of my unused chip cases. I didn’t know there were multiple versions of the $1, $5, and $25 so I also had to do some trading and purchasing to fill what became 2 cases worth.
The first set is in a 400 chip case but I fit 443 in there. This case features the red denom $1 and the red denom $5 with 11 grand opening chips mixed in. I like the occasional GO chip as it does feel more “casino like”. $25 are all standard red denom. I traded all of my 10th anniversary $25 and BACC $5s away. Cleaned but not oiled.
So I just happened to have enough black denom $1s to start on another set. This is a 500 chip case but fit 552. This set features the black denom $1s and the black denom $5s. 3 rows of the Star logo $5s and 1 row of the standard logo. I found that these chips are in much better condition.
These are the most worn chips I have ever had but they feel great. The worn leaded RHC has to be the most underrated chip. I originally was thinking these would be a great loaner/gift/garage set but I am now very excited to get them in play.

I'm working on this. I've got all my $25s and $5s cleaned. Half way done with the $1s. My trouble has been finding chips worn enough that I feel like they fit, but I think some folks are helping me get close.

If I can finish the rack of Indian Blues I intend to make them quarters. Otherwise plan to play this one as is for extreme micro. The T1would be a penny and so on with the purples being $5. Also can play them as turbo warm up T1 based T500 sets also. (Basically 5 minute levels winner takes all and takes about 30 minutes total, that's why we call it a warm up set)
Really loves these blues as quarters though

The red demon is the old and the black is the newer inlay(chip). Both nice though! But red denom’s are heavy heavy, original leaded formula.

My goal is to find a very, very well used rack of RHCs and get some labels from Gear for an overlabel frac. I'll probably use the inlay styling from the $1k, but swap the denom to a quarter. Long term goals, and whatnot.
