So I got this TRK Large Crown set a couple of months ago, had grand plans of cleaning it up and using it as a cash set, but it never happened, and I need to raise some cash for other purchases
These chips are from an illegal California cardroom called The Palms, owned by Bok Hing Chan, the biggest illegal gambling operator in California in the 40s and 50s. The light blue LAVITA chips are not part of The Palms set, it is an add-on so I can have another color.
Breakdown:
420 white
140 brown
60 light blue
(620) chips total
$900 + 15 priority mail shipping = $915 total.
The collector's value of this set is far greater, but I really hate to break this set up. I'm offering it here before I turn to Ebay.
