Oooooh!! I love me some Chimeras too!

However, if that's the case, the percentage of SCV to Chimera may be too much to overcome - unless these are like the Highway 9s.

Yeah, I would think so too. But I really like it. It's probably just the rarity/freak factor.

I’ve heard of it before but those cups can’t be that common this is the first time I’ve seen them in bulk

The only significant source of these that I know of are the Highway 9s. These were primarily LCV, but had a significant proportion of Chimeras - no pure SCV. I believe I read that someone got more Chimeras than SCV for a (some?) denom (s).

Shhhhh! It's my own, obvious take on the situation. Maybe it will catch on.

The way it pops up from time to time means (to me) that the LCV cups are in the same cabinet as the SCV cups. Every once in a while, somebody has an extra beer with lunch, and that day's afternoon production is all Chimeras. Unless, of course, I worked in the Mexican factory - I'd be busting the LCV cups out whenever no one was looking!

I think they run the LCV/SCV combo somewhat often. (you see it on some newer chips, like some of the NAGB chips - e.g. ES $20)
Not sure when GPI stopped doing LCV/LCV, but it has been many years.
