And I probably shouldn't even mention this (why do I do this to myself???), but I'm already trying to talk MSK into making a custom rack for their small plaques, if I can guarantee a minimum order.

But DON'T get your hopes up just yet ... I only just started the conversation, just to see if it's even possible.

Gotta close this one out first.
 
Whether possible or not, I suspect a number of people placing orders are experimenting with the looks and feel of these plaques. The need for racks will come after we decide if they are a worthy investment as a part of a set.

Agreed... that's why I'm just starting the conversation with the factory and not pushing it seriously... yet.

And I think we're buttoned up on cases - only BGinGA and Psypher1000.

Hey everyone - just giving an update as of 2/16...

Still waiting on one more payment. I'm heading out of town on vacation so payment won't be made to MSK until I get back next week. If the final payment comes in while I'm away, I can still initiate the transfer from PP to my bank account. That way I can get everything wired to MSK as soon as I get back.

I'll keep everyone posted with regular updates. And sorry for the delay on this. :/

Plaques are done... And photos of all 500 are below!! I've been informed that they will ship tomorrow... BY AIR! Get ready for a quick turnaround folks!! :)

PS: Ignore the two with white edges... They aren't a mistake... I got those as a sample for myself and P5.

I'd seriously consider running this assuming permission is granted to use the art work.

These MSK plaques are looking pretty sweet for the price - although we'll definitely need to wait to get some hands on reviews before proceeding. That said, I think MSK will quickly be replacing Matsui as the plaque-maker of choice. $18 just doesn't make sense when there's a $5 option on the table.

I've had both in hand and I wouldn't dismiss Matsui at all. Ymmv.
 
Yeah, there is a world of difference between MSK and Matsui. Sorta like comparing china clays to cpc chips, with abiatti and b&g the paulsons and trk's of the plaque world.
 
Awaiting plaques before making final comparison, but the Matsui's are going to be pretty tough to beat - or even come close. However, the price will carve out a fine niche for them, provided they feel better than ceramic plaques.
