It is just a blank inlay. Kind of has a gold foil look to it, but it may also just be blank white and it yellowed with time.
I don't want to hijack your thread, but I'm really curious what the point of this might have been? Like why even go to the effort of putting a blank inlay on the chips? Sorry, I'm just always trying to learn in this hoppy...

I have some with that same “inlay”

Whomever had them before me has tried to either ink stamp them or silkscreen them. I can post examples later.

The silkscreen/stamp/whatever on mine is now on the chip face itself

I was wondering the same, following along if anyone else has any knowledge about that. @TRKingChips maybe??

If those chips have a gold colored type foil
where the inlay would go - they then typically
would “ hot stamp them “ with a colored foil
such as a BLUE - I will send pics of some
examples - other times they would try to
“emboss “ over the foil with white lettering .

Someone needs to buy these chips …
They offer so many possibilities and you
are getting several racks in different colors .
If I could use them in a project — they
would already be gone …

A really great price !!!
Here is a TRK special chip that has both
this same inlay but also the blue metallic
hot stamp … This is what you could do
with these chips ….
