I placed an order for the Tina Group by and got a total of $650 chips for my .25/.50 $50 buy in cash game. Do you guys foresee any issues? I wanted to get some $100 just for fun but I think our biggest game there was around $1600 on the table it’s a pretty loose game lots of limped flops and will max seat 8 players at the table
.25 x 200
$1 x 250
$5 x 150
$25 x 25
$100 x 25

I would get more $5’s and $25’s to “future-proof” the set, in case your game grows, either in actual stakes, or practical stakes (I.e., players just start making larger bets).

But it should work fine for a typical casual .25/.50 game.

Agreed. It really sucks when you get a few years down the line and can't add on to your set.

No $100
But a least 2 more racks of $5

I play 8-handed .25/.50 with $50-$100 buyins. I would swap 50 fifty of those $1s for an additional fifty $5's without hesitation. You can get by with 150 x $5, but its pretty much the bare minimum.
I still think that leaves you with too many quarters and not enough fives, but opinions vary.

If you want to future proof your set for up to 1/2, the following is a safe breakdown (assuming you need to buy in 25 chip increments)

150 x $0.25 (2 racks of fracs is overkill, even at 0.25/0.50 imo)
200 x $1 (300 better for 0.25/0.50 or 0.50/1.00 imo)
300 x $5 (400 better if you really want to play 1/2 one day)
75 x $25
25 x $100

Gives you just over $6000 of bank and no worries about ever needing to add on (or worries if future add-ons will match you initial sets colours).
