Yesterday, I picked up a set of 960 chips for my tournament set, and I'm looking to trim it down (or add to it :sneaky:) based off of what I would need for 2TT's (or 20 people max).

Below is the breakdown for what I currently have today.

240 x T25
240 x T100
100 x T500
260 x T1000
100 x T5000
20 x T25000
-----------------
960 Chips Total

With this 2TT set, I want it to be able to support a T-10k to start, but I like the idea of having anywhere up to T-25k starting stacks. The 12/12/5/6/x is definitely the route I would want to take.

For re-buys, I would definitely have a few up until a certain level, but I think it would be good to have enough chips to support 100% rebuys. In all honesty, most of my friends that play wouldn't re-buy with the exception of the few avid poker players.

Also, I was thinking about picking up 20x T100k's, and relabeling them for bounty chips.

So after doing some research on the forum, I found some good recommendations like @BGinGA's breakdown below, but I am open to other recommendations if you have any.

20 players x T20K stacks (12/12/5/6/2) with re-buys and color-ups:

240 x T25
240 x T100
100 x T500
150 x T1000
70 x T5000
-------------
800 chips

As of now, I am thinking of slimming down to the below chip counts. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!! :)

240 x T25
240 x T100
100 x T500
180 x T1000
100 x T5000
20 x T25000
20 x T100000 (bounties)

First off, if you add just 20 T500's your set would accomodate 3 tables @ 8/8/4/7/x, in case you needed it. :)

You have more than enough T5K's and T25K's, but you can never have too many amazing chips!

Congrats on a killer set!

Agreed and I don’t have too much of an incentive to downsize but that’s a good call on the T500’s!
