This set in on consignment to me from a close friend and poker player not in the chip-collecting hobby;
He picked it up in an auction lot in the Boston area.

These proof sets sometimes come up on Ebay, often incomplete, not in a binder, and broken up or in rough shape, selling from 4-38$ per token. Tokens are well struck, shiny, and the pictures I have do not do them justice.
What I have here is a complete set in Very Fine shape of the final year these sets were made.

Back of binder, which has discoloration or transfer from a white object, as though at some point in it's 50 year life it may have been sitting next to something made of white plastic and gotten transfer.
