Hosting a single table sitNgo and have an 11th player is ok?
Aside from comfort, any other issues? Thx

It is doable, but why not have 1 player be the first alternate?

Or do it as a 2 table but combine at 6 so it plays as a short handed game the whole time?

Either of these are better suggestions

did it last night was absolutely fine. just tell everyone to swipe a few times with the deodorant

Definitely not for the guy who's the alternate.

If you do two short tables then the alternate plays. If that isn't an option then I guess the "alternate" should have responded sooner to lock up a seat.

We have a guy that hosts a single table deep stack tournament. 10 handed with up to 2 alternates gaurenteed seats.

I have played in as an alternate and won it. I hung out with everyone, got to watch how everyone was playing while not having to worry about playing myself which can be a huge advantage.

I dont see what the issue is playing with 11 as long as there is adequate room at the table, if its a space issue then I get it.

A preference thing I guess. I just don't care for it whether there is room or not at the table.
