Do you guys feel $150 is a good deal on the 10 person Barrington? Or is there a chance it will trend lower? I think it's going to be my first table and refelt project once I'm ready to pull the trigger.

$150 is about right. The price on the Walmart site fluctuates occasionally. A couple months ago, it was down to $130. Earlier this year, it was around $180, IIRC.

I think the Barrington table is the best value , if you’re trying to keep your cost to a minimum. But once you add new cloth, maybe deeper cup holders, and your time, I don’t know.

My old crew has played on a Pit Boss folding oval table for years. Has worked great for us. The Barrington appears to be a beefier version of that table and would certainly be an upgrade after the new felt.

Last year right after Christmas Sam’s Club had them on clearance for $75. But I wouldn’t wait hoping for that price again. Especially since I haven’t seen them in the stores this year.

We've been playing on a Pit Boss table. A friend of mine found it at a thrift shop for $20, and I resurfaced it with leftover carpet pad and some exterior fabric. Very sturdy, and works fine.

Pretty decent find. The page says 'clearance' - so anyone looking for a small table should take advantage of this. I may snag one myself.
