A long time buddy of mine, none poker player, goes to alot of auctions looking for antiques. Almost 2 months ago he let me know that there was a large poker chip lot coming up for auction at one his regular auctions. That was all the details he had. On Friday there was preview for the Saturday auction. I went and found 1960 Paulson THC chips shaped inlay chips from a casino that I was unfamiliar with. I came home and searched the name on Chip Guide. What I found out was that it was local travelling "Charity" casino from Southern Ontario Canada, that travelled from city to city offering blackjack and 5/10 limit poker. I confirmed with @SeekTheGrail who played a lot poker in the 90's and @moose who played blackjack in the charity casino's, both remember playing with this company. Based on the offerings at casino, it explains why there was only 5 and 25 denominations available at the auction. Chip guide says there were 1s at some point, there were Mr Lucky 1's at some time.
