Bought it for the case, 6 bucks on eBay. Didn't even know it came with chips, cards and dice!

Fits 172 chips with 2 decks of cards. Using it for a travel set. If anyone wants to build a set that's cheaper than the normal full blown set I got an interesting breakdown and the case idea from @BSteck. Below is the super flexible breakdown for some travel games. Chips will be labeled .25, 1, 5 and Ncv with no dollar signs. If you want the spreadsheet or have any questions pm me. It's been fun to design and build. Pron coming soon.

With no cards it seems you can fit 200+ chips. Might be a good case for people who want to harvest chips then travel back on a plane with them.

Yeah tried about 4 other methods to no avail including magic erasers and an ultrasonic... no idea what the players could have had on their hands

Yeah I’ve seen and cleaned chips in the same or worse condition but however these were stored seems to have embedded the gunk worse than I’ve ever encountered

Did you try soaking them in water for a while before the ultrasonic? It helps loosen it up a bit

Yeah some water was getting under the first few inlays so I stopped

Those are beauties. TSP should take care of that dirt no prob. 1 tblsp per 8 cups h2o

Yeah I use that in the ultrasonic and tried it in just a bowl of water

Haven't had a chance to post this before I left on my summer trip to Europe, but now that I'm back and got my head in order, here they are:

Lots of BOLO (thanks, @bradiggy !), a couple good eBay snags, Orleans for relabeling to JACK bounties (thanks, @asian bino !) and THC solids (thanks, @Perthmike and @Potsie1 !). All headed for the ultrasonic cleaner today! When I've had a chance to oil some up, then the BOLO thread will be updated, too.

No trick, just never cleaned plastic cards before. So just water? No dawn soap or anything?

Only the foolish assumes they know the best way to do something they’ve never done before

Yes to Dawn soap if you think you've got serious oil/grease on them. Just water if it's just dust/dirt.

And I know that in many/most situations, there is likely no greater fool than myself. I've barely gotten out of busting out first in every tournament I've played.

A lot of this were very sticky so definitely will go the light soap route. Thanks !
