Hi All,

Wasn’t sure where to post this. I of course am also looking online but thought this may get a faster response. In all my PP purchases so far I haven’t seen this.

I’m not using a “card”, bank info is updated and double checked everything. Any ideas?

If it has any bearing, it’s paying from US to CA account.

Nope nothing. Talked to bank and PP already, in the end said it’s not them.

So in the meantime shot over a couple hundred I owed @detroitdad and it went right through. Anyone run into US to Canada payments with PayPal and get a resolution?

I may have run into this but honestly forget. Have you tried a different CC card or tried to load money onto your PP and pay from your PP directly?

I did try the first and still a no go. I can do the second, but it says it may take days to load money directly to PP directly from card or bank account and I’d rather seller not have to wait that long.

Just as a basic check, is the address used for the recipient correct (no typos, etc)?

I actually did experience an issue but with a phonecall to PayPal I was set straight. They literally stopped my account because they thought someone may have compromised it.

You seem to be experiencing some other problem and you called them already. They are usually so helpful to assist you so that they can thieve more if YOUR money.

Address is correct, he actually even sent a request but same error popped up saying that it was my card information (which it can’t be since detroitdad’s went right through.

I appreciate the help all! I’ll call in to PayPal tomorrow morning and push a bit.

No rush on my part for the money. I tried checking my settings in paypal, but there's virtually nothing for me to change that I can see.

I did change my primary currency to USD, prolly won't change anything for you but I thought it was worth a try if you want to try again

I hate to say this, but phew I’m glad it’s not just me. Hate to hold up someone’s funds. Ill update here tomorrow after I call in and get some info.

They are legitimized thieves. Nothing more or less. I HATE PayPal. I've wasted so much money in fees since joining. I could have got a rack of hundos or melons of Jacks for the money I've lost to PayPal. Pretty sad!

All I can figure is that it's something to do with USD going to my account, but other than changing my primary currency to USD there are no settings that I can change. I have linked a thread I posted last year, where I was experiencing the same problems with a different buyer. The settings in Paypal have changed since then, but I've received a lot of money in USD since then.

@djriley sent me money for a set a few months ago, as far as I know there weren't problems at all then.

Hopefully looks like all is resolved. @ReallyGoodUsername jumped in to middle man the payment, I threw him 5 bucks for the assist, and a deal is closed!

Now tell us what you did differently than @BarrieJ3 lol, because it really confuses me when some people have these issues and others don't.
